You can update the version of SMS2 with the following commands (note: there are more details in the upgrading guide) :

The compose command must be run from the directory where your SMS compose config resides (the folder with the docker-compose.yml file). It is up to the installing technician where they put this folder originally.

The docker image command can technically be ran from anywhere.
